The Past Is Behind Us, The Future Is Our Grave, But The Present Is Our Salvation

Um...my future is not a grave. I'm going to live forever! And since the means to my eternal life happened a long time ago does that make the past my salvation? And if the past is my salvation and the future is forever then what does that make the present? A dot on a spiral moving outwards? And if the present is a dot on an outward moving spiral then by the time I finish this sentence the present is no longer present-it is past. Oooo...

Ah, but this is not geared to those redeemed. Let me rephrase myself, "Our mistakes are behind us, yet they are still our mistakes. We are mortal; death is our fate. However, what choices we make now can deliver us from what we have done and what is to come, our sin and our grave." I apologize for the misunderstanding. Is it as clear as crystal now? --The Giggleman
